Nicole Richie attended the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. Nicole has been busy lately with charity work including the Africa Outreach Project. Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden built a children’s playground for Beyond Shelter–an organization that helps homeless children and their families.
