Music icon Rihanna proved she’s truly a “Rockstar,” when Madame Tussauds in London unveiled their latest wax figure of the iconic singer yesterday. The figure took a team of 20 artists four months to complete and cost $232,000. The wax replica features Rihanna in a sleek black dress, with a hip-high slit on the side and red shoulder-length hair, which is how she looked for her appearance on the hit U.K. show “X Factor.”
The singer wasn’t on hand for the ceremony, which comes just months after another figure of her was unveiled in Berlin, but will be bringing her “Loud” tour to London later this week. Rihanna has a new album TALK THAT TALK due out November 21st.
Rihanna’s statue will be added to the museum’s Music Zone exhibit, where it will be placed on alongside the wax figures of Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse.

Did you know….
In 2006, Rihanna formed the Believe Foundation http://www.believerihanna.com, which is dedicated to meeting the needs of children around the world. The 23-year-old singer also lends her star power to charities that focus on AIDS, the environment and disaster relief. In July, she brought her “Loud” tour to Alabama, and held a benefit concert to help area tornado victims. In a statement to the press Rihanna said: “Hearing about the hundreds of lives that have been lost and the communities that have been so devastated by this disaster … I wanted to figure out a way to help…I’m hoping that bringing the LOUD tour through Alabama can provide a moment of relief and raise a lot of money for the charities we are working with.”
