Demi Moore and daughter Rumer Willis came out last night to support Haiti and Sean Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization. The event titled Sean Penn and Friends Cinema for Peace Event took place in Los Angeles at the Montage Hotel.
Other big names that filled the room included Julia Roberts, Mel Gibson, Josh Brolin, Diane Lane, Melanie Griffith, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Salma Hayek, Orlando Bloom, Felicity Jones, Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster), Hilary Swank, Kim Kardashian, James Gandolfini and Rainn Wilson. Also at the benefit were Donna Karan and Hillary Clinton.
In a video message Oprah Winfrey offered to match any contributions of up to $2.5 million, the event raised $5 million.
