Selena Gomez was named the Ambassador to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Yesterday during Ryan’s radio show, “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest,” he shared the news that Selena Gomez will be assuming the role of ambassador to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF).
The non-profit organization is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seriously ill and injured children through unique programs that utilize multimedia and interactive platforms to enlighten, entertain and educate. Back in July, Selena made a special appearance at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, joining Seacrest as he hosted the first broadcast from the hospital’s multimedia center installed by RSF. As ambassador, she will continue her work with the foundation in an official capacity – visiting new locations and providing inspiration to sick children.
“From the beginning, I could tell that Selena really understood our mission. I’m so grateful that she’s decided to take on this larger role with us, joining our efforts to bring hope and spirit to seriously ill and injured kids,” said Seacrest, founder and chairman of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. “With Selena as ambassador, we will continue to expand our programs at children’s hospitals throughout the country.”
