Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated 40 on a family vacation in Italy with husband Chris Martin and her children-Apple and Moses. Gwyneth ended her celebration with a  party in New York city at Elio’s Italian restaurant surrounded by famous friends-Steven Spielberg, her Mom Blythe Danner, Chelsea Handler, the Beastie Boys, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ethan Hawke, Cameron Diaz, Beyonce and husband Chris Martin.

“I was really worried about it, leading up to the day, but now I feel really happy and content with my life. I’m excited to move into the next phase. It’s much more exciting than I thought it would be.”

Gwyneth Paltrow is still filming her latest movie Iron Man 3 set to release in May 2013 and recently launched an extension of her GOOP website, a newsletter and partnering up with Nicole Richie for an exclusive giveaway.
