Sylvester Stallone and Jackie Kallen
Sylvester Stallone never went away and we are so glad and so inspired by his new movie "Creed." He took home a Golden Globe Award for his role and even Sylvester's speech was inspiring. Sylvester Stallone has also been nominated for an Oscar, we can't wait to see his win on February 28th!
"Creed" follows Adonis Johnson son of world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed. The champion died before his son was born but there’s no denying that boxing is in his blood and he tracks down Rocky Balboa to be his trainer. Rocky sees in Adonis the strength and determination he had known in Apollo—the fierce rival who became his closest friend. Agreeing to take him on, Rocky trains the young fighter and before long Adonis gets his own shot at the title. A must see!
Speaking of boxing, you can't talk about boxing without mentioning Jackie Kallen. She is a legend and hero in the boxing arena, inspiration behind Meg Ryan movie "Against the Ropes," known as "The First Lady of Boxing" and a personal friend of Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone. Jackie Kallen inspires people both in and outside the boxing ring, filled with positivity and kind, encouraging words. There is not a day that goes by that Jackie doesn't touch somebody's life.
