First lady Michelle Obama presented Taylor Swift with the “Big Help Award” at the 25th Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards tonight.
The award is in recognition of Swift’s philanthropic work, which includes raising more $750,000 for tornado victims in Tennessee by selling tickets to the last dress rehearsal of her “Speak Now” tour.
The Grammy-winning singer also works with charities such as The Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude Medical Center, The Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity.
The Kids’ Choice Awards were held tonight and hosted by Will Smith.

Ashton Kutcher has purchased the 500th ticket on Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic space line. It is said they are in the final stages of the test flight program and plans on beginning commercial operations next year. Ashton purchased a seat on the spacecraft for $200,000.
Richard Branson gave Ashton a personal call to congratulate him. “He is as thrilled as we are at the prospect of being among the first to cross the final frontier (and back!) with us and to experience the magic of space for himself,”

I took my daughters to see the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil Immortal Tour over the weekend and words can hardly describe. There were breath taking magical performances the entire night. I had never been to a Cirque du Soleil show and then you add the Michael Jackson’s best songs.
Michael Jackson cared about helping others globally and the lyrics in his music with those messages will live on. We felt like were at one of the most amazing Michael Jackson concerts sadly the only thing missing was Michael.
