If you’re looking for a great opportunity to collect some celebrity memorabilia, meet your favorite star and help out a great cause, now’s your chance. On Monday, online auction giant eBay launched eBay Celebrity, where fans can bid for items and an opportunity to meet their favorite celebrity. Proceeds from each auction will go to a charity selected by the participating celebrity.
Currently on the auction block, is singer Katy Perry’s “cotton candy dress,” which she wore during her California Dreams World Tour. The winning bid also comes with two VIP tickets to her Nov. 21 concert at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA. Followed by a backstage meeting with Perry, where she’ll personally hand over the designer dress. The auction runs now through Nov. 14, and proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.
Other top stars such as Hayden Panettie, Brad Pitt, Christina Aguilera and Sienna Miller have also signed up for eBay Celebrity auctions.
