Matthew Broderick Brings Ferris Back

Matthew Broderick is proving you’re never too old to play hooky by reprising his Ferris Bueller character for an ad in this year’s Super Bowl. Loved Ferris Bueller!

No word on what the iconic character will be selling during the 60 second spot, but a 10 second was posted on You Tube Thursday.

The teaser was posted by a new user called “chuckachuka2012,” and features a much older Ferris throwing open the curtains and saying, “How can I handle work on a day like today?”

The line’s very close to the one Broderick’s original line: “How can I possibly be expected to handle school on a day like this?”

Written and directed by John Hughes, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” was released in 1986 and earned over $70 million in U.S. box office sales.
