Abigail Breslin was honored last night at Variety Magazine’s 7th Annual Power of Youth event for her charity work with Project Sunshine. The “Little Miss Sunshine” star is all grown up and admits is really inspired by what the organization does providing activities for children living with disabilities, HIV and other special needs. “What’s really special is that they also bring in people to help the families.”
Activities like Project Sunshine help to keep her priorities in check, Breslin says.
This is an unusually busy year for Abigail Breslin. Recently strarring alongside Halle Berry in The Call next she stars in sci-fi franchise starter “Ender’s Game” and drama “August: Osage County,” her upcoming list also includes three chillers “Haunter,” “Final Girl” and “Wicked Blood.”
