Britney Spears is officially back on top with Hold Me Closer and all it took was one song. Britney Spears recorded a duet with music legend Elton John its release on Friday, August 26th. The new song is a remake of “Hold Me Closer” and Britney’s first song in six years and first new music since the end of her conservatorship. Britney Spears and Elton John’s new song went to number 1 in 40 countries its first day.

Britney recently got married to Sam Asghari who she met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. Sam was cast as her love interest in the music video. She started dating Sam in 2017 and they got engaged in 2021. The fairytale wedding took place at her Los Angeles home on June 9th, 2022. Wedding guests included Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton, Ansel Elgort, Donatella Versace and will.i.am. KimzHollywoodList couldn’t be happier for Britney Spears.
