Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will be teaming up for a new film. CNN reports the famous friends will co-star and produce a film about Whitey Bulger, the Boston gangster who was recently apprehended in Santa Monica after 16 years on the run.
Not all details have been released about the untitled film, but KHL has learned Affleck will also take on the role of director, and Damon has signed on to play Bulger. Affleck told reporters he and Damon “have been looking for something to do together for some time. We’ve heard about Whitey Bulger since we were kids, and we are excited about the prospect of putting it on screen.”
