Celebrities are taking off their shoes for an online auction to help children living in trash dumps around the world. Shoes from Ben Stiller, Sarah Jessica Parker, Chis Noth, Will Ferrell, Sienna Miller, Ricky Gervais, Jamie Lee Curtis, Russell Brand, Colin Firth and Bill Murray are among those up for bid.

Hosted by UK non-profit Small Steps Project, the eBay auction kicked of yesterday and will be accepting bids through October 23. Over 60 pairs of celebrity shoes are available and 100 percent of the final sale price will go directly to the charity.

Most shoes have been autographed and many come with extras such as photos and hand written notes. The lucky bidder who scores Sex in the City star Kristin Davis’ pair of black, stiletto Louis Vuitton shoes gets a photo and a spare set of heel studs in the original box. The winning bid also includes a handwritten note to the charity from Davis that says, “Good Luck, I think what you are doing is so wonderful and every bit of effort and help really matters to these kids. Let me know if I can help in the future.”

The Small Steps Project was founded by former celebrity reporter Amy Hanson, after she saw children in Cambodia foraging through garbage dumps. “I witnessed huge landfills filled with our waste and excess packaging where the local children would look for scraps to sell in order to support their families,” said Hanson. “We want to raise enough money to get the children away from the rubbish dumps and into schools, but for now we’re focusing on providing durable boots to prevent the children from harming themselves with the shards of glass and sharp objects on the ground.”
