One of the highlights of our recent trip to Cali was stopping by Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Gift store. True story, before leaving for the store my 16 year old daughter Claire put on a Rolling Stones t-shirt with the big tongue hanging out. I said Claire can you please change your shirt you are going to make me look like a bad mom. Claire’s response I don’t have any other shirts (not exactly true), I will have my coat on to cover it nobody will see. The first thing Gwyneth says when she meets my daughter, “Claire I love your shirt, my daughter has the same one, did you get it at Brandi Melville.” Goop Gift has a little bit of everything for yourself or last minute holiday gifts.

I purchased the “It’s All Good” cookbook for my sister who always wanted to be a chef and Gwyneth kindly signed it : Kristine, Best Wishes with the rest of law school. Merry Christmas, Love Gwyneth.

As I was waiting for the book to be gift wrapped I looked over the beauty products and was given some great information on the benefits of charcoal by a girl named Blair. I additionally purchased a bar of charcoal face soap and a jar of french girls organics rose lip polish. I can’t wait to try out the products and give the book to my sister for Christmas while we are in Michigan for the holidays.
