We know Amy Brenneman as Violet on ABC’s “Private Practice.” Before that as “Judging Amy” a show she not only starred in but created and produced based on her mother’s work as a Juvenile Court Judge in Connecticut. And before that Amy starred on NYPD Blue where she met now husband Brad Silberling, a successful film director and they have two children. Unfortunately Amy suffered with a medical condition forcing her to have surgery earlier this year in January to get better. Amy’s ability to bounce back and show us her sense of humor, compassion and good will is inspiring. Amy Brenneman is not only a talented actress but behind the scenes Amy is also a talented writer.

Amy is now almost fully recovered and on hiatus from “Private Practice.” She keeps busy with non-profit groups Healthy Child/Healthy World, The Feminist Majority and the Cornerstone Theater Company which she is a founding member. Amy Brenneman is a talented actress, porducer and writer.
