Beyonce Cosmetology House Unveiling in Brooklyn, New York. A cosmetology center was named after Beyonce at the Phoenix House in Brooklyn. Beyonce’s songs and music have made her famous and inspired people of all ages. Mayor Bloomberg, the mayor of New York and Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles were also present at the unveiling.
Jada Pinkett Smith attended the 3rd Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon. The event was at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California. Vanessa Williams, Vivica Fox, Mary J. Blige, Viola Davis, Queen Latifah, Taraji Henson and Laila Ali also attended. The event celebrated black women in Hollywood and their success.

Janet Jackson was in Chicago for the taping of the Oprah Show earlier today. Janet was on Oprah to talk about her new movie Why Did I Get Married Too along with Tyler Perry, creator and star. Janet Jackson’s new song “Nothing” debuts in the movie and she was said to perform. The show will air at the end of March and the movie hits theaters April 2nd.
