Kate Hudson kicked off the Venice Film Festival today! She premiered her new movie “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” in beautiful Venice at the 69th Annual Venice Film Festival earlier. Kate stars in “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” about a young Pakistani man’s post 9/11 identity crisis.

What a place to premiere your new movie-gondola boats, beautiful piazzas, canals and lets not forget the amazing Italian food topped with gelato for dessert.

Kate will also star on the new season of Glee where we will get to see her dancing skills. Glee kicks off season 4 Thursday, September 13th on FOX.

 Kate Hudson got a surprise Saturday when she and fiance Matthew Bellamy delivered a healthy baby boy thinking she was having a girl. Kate didn’t want to know the sex of the baby but felt she was going to have a baby girl. These things happen right? Congratulations Kate!

Kate Hudson showed up last night to the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Something Borrowed very pregnant wearing a flowing yellow gown. Kate was glowing and revealed she thinks the baby is a girl. Kate Hudson appeared last night on the “Late Show with David Letterman.” Kate was recently named the new face for Almay. Kate Hudson has been busy filming her new movie “Something Borrowed” around NYC. “Something Borrowed” is a book by Emily Giffin about a good girl who changes her course on her 30th birthday. The movie is due out sometime next year.

Kate Hudson just finished filming “Earthbound” in New Orleans with co-star Whoopi Goldberg before signing on for a new film project. Kate is currently filming “Something Borrowed” in Greenwich Village, New York. The movie is a romantic comedy based on Emily Giffin’s bestseller. Kate plays a beautiful, bratty bride who gets everything she wants. The movie comes out next summer.

Kate Hudson attended the Rainforest Fund’s 21st Birthday afterparty at the Plaza Hotel  in NYC last night. Almay hosted a concert to celebrate. In 1989, Sting and Trudie Styler founded the organizations jointly known as Rainforest Foundation. Since then the Foundation has been supporting indigenous peoples and traditional populations of the rainforest in their efforts to conserve their land and defend their rights. Earlier this week Kate was at the Tribeca Film Festival promoting her new movie, “The Killer Inside Me.” Kate Hudson’s latest film projects are “Earthbound, ” Big Eyes,” “Ass Backwards,” and “Something Borrowed.” When Kate is not busy with movie projects she is busy with her son Ryder.
