Demi Moore and daughterย Rumer Willisย came out last night to support Haiti and Sean Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization. The event titled Sean Penn and Friends Cinema for Peace Event took place in Los Angeles at the Montage Hotel.
Otherย big names thatย filled the roomย included Julia Roberts, Mel Gibson, Josh Brolin, Diane Lane,ย Melanie Griffith, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Salma Hayek,ย Orlando Bloom, Felicity Jones,ย Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster), Hilary Swank, Kim Kardashian, Jamesย Gandolfini and Rainn Wilson. Also at the benefit were Donna Karan and Hillary Clinton.ย
In a video message Oprah Winfrey offered to match any contributions ofย up to $2.5 million, the event raised $5 million.
