Music icon Rihanna proved sheโs truly a โRockstar,โ when Madame Tussauds in London unveiled their latest wax figure of the iconic singer yesterday. The figure took a team of 20 artists four months to complete and cost $232,000. The wax replica features Rihanna in a sleek black dress, with a hip-high slit on the side and red shoulder-length hair, which is how she looked for her appearance on the hit U.K. show โX Factor.โ
The singer wasnโt on hand for the ceremony, which comes just months after another figure of her was unveiled in Berlin, but will be bringing her โLoudโ tour to London later this week. Rihanna has a new album TALK THAT TALK due out November 21st.
Rihannaโs statue will be added to the museumโs Music Zone exhibit, where it will be placed on alongside the wax figures of Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse.
