In case you didn’t know Janet Jackson is one of my favorite music artists and born in the same month as me. Janet rocked the red carpet earlier this week at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival.
Janet is the co-chair for amfAR, The Foundation for Aids Research and hosted this year’s event at Cannes, amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS.
Janet Jackson’s world tour ended in December as she started the New Year as the spokesperson for Nutrisystem. Janet recently celebrated her birthday this year in Paris with her boyfriend.

Sandra Bullock hosted the second annual amfAR International Gala Thursday night at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles. The event featured a tribute by Bullock to the late Elizabeth Taylor, who was an amfAR Founding International Chairman, and performances by singers Debby Harry and Sinead O’Connor.
The fundraising gala also included a poolside cocktail reception, dinner and a live auction, and was attended by celebrities Josh Duhamel, Selma Blair, Colin Farrell, Rose McGowan and Sean Penn. The next day, Duhamel posted a picture of O’Connor’s performance on his Facebook wall….Read full story
