Usher was in Paris, France recently for the release of his new album titled “Raymond v. Raymond.” Usher, originally from Atlanta made his way to fame being after being discovered at a local talent show by an LaFace record executive. He then auditioned at age 14 for LaFace co-founder L.A. Reid and was signed to a recording contract. He later was the opening act for one of Janet Jackson’s early concert tours.

In addition to being an artist and father, Usher has become an entrepreneur and a philanthropist. One of his most treasured projects is his New Look Foundation for young kids. Usher is also part owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team and has a record label US Records which launched the career of Justin Bieber who is helping deal with sudden stardom. Usher took some time off to deal with personal issues and is committed to raising his two sons with Tameka Foster.
