Sandra Bullock made heads turn when she walked the red carpet at the New York premiere of her latest film “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” on Thursday. The Blind Side actress looked stunning in her Alexander McQueen black satin pant suit and poker straight hair.
Bullock was joined by costars Tom Hanks, Thomas Horn, Max von Sydow and Jeffrey Wright at the Ziegfeld Theater. Hanks wife Rita Wilson, actor Joe Pantoliano and designer Isaac Mizrahi were also at the premiere.
This is Bullock’s first film since “The Blind Side,” but this time the actress is taking a much smaller role. “I’m actually in there for about 24 minutes. Strategically-placed moments,” she told “Today Show” host Matt Lauer. “I’ve already had those moments. There might be more, but I don’t know how many moments like this there will be. With stories like this, with directors and casts like this… you can’t say no to that.”
“Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” follows a young boy as he copes with the death of his father, who was killed on 9/11. The film will have a limited opening across the U.S. on Christmas day and will hit theaters across the nation on Jan. 20, 2102. For more information and watch a trailer go to: http://bit.ly/s2bN5P
