October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Jennifer Aniston is out in full force supporting the cause. Yesterday, Aniston joined the vice president’s wife, Jill Biden, and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius for a tour of the Inova Breast Care Center in Alexandria, VA, which is set to open next week.
Aniston was reportedly moved to tears, as she listened to the stories of breast cancer survivors during a roundtable discussion. The actress recently completed directing a short film for a groundbreaking Lifetime Network original movie. Titled “Five,” the movie features five short films exploring the impact breast cancer has on the title characters. Demi Moore and Alicia Keys also contributed to the anthology, each directing a film.
According to reports, Aniston held an advance screening the movie after the event.
“Five” will premiere Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. on the Lifetime Network
