Meg Ryan writes, directs and stars in What Happens Later alongside David Duchovny. Meg is just as cute as ever reuniting with her ex while stranded at an airport due to a massive snowstorm. The former couple goes over all the reasons of their long ago break up and the what if’s. You fall in love with the couple just as the storm clears and they leave each other to board their planes. Ryan’s film is filled with magical realism as these two ex-lovers learn to slow down and reconnect with each other, themselves, and the things that are good in life. The film is based on the play Shooting Star by Steven Dietz.

In addition to acting Meg is the mother to Daisy and Jack which she claims is her true joy in life.
