She’s been a comedian, sitcom star, talk show host and a spokesperson for a cosmetics company, but now Ellen DeGeneres is adding another job to her impressive resume: U.S. Special Envoy for Global Aids Awareness.
Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton made the announcement while speaking at the National Institutes of Health on Tuesday. According to USA Today, Clinton sent a letter to DeGeneres stating:
